Colorado native, U.S. Ski Team racer & two-time Olympian,
Mckennis (known as, “The Aligator”) is launching back into ski racing after an arduous injury hiatus.
Alice Mckennis, returns to dominate for the 2019–20 race season.
Growing up on a ranch in New Castle, Colorado, Mckennis learned to ski at Sunlight Mountain Resort and began racing at clubs around the state, including Sunlight, Aspen, and Steamboat Springs. With a true passion for ski racing, she is a U.S. Ski Team member since 2010, and earned eight top-10 career finishes and a World Cup victory in 2013.

Beginning with the opening World Cup downhill and super G races in Lake Louise, Alberta, Mckennis is in top form with a first position start in the downhill training runs. In pursuit of more World Cup wins and the chance to return to the Olympics, this formidable skier is ready for a successful 2019–20 season and beyond.
Alice Mckennis is also dedicated mentor to younger skiers and positive leader in the ski racing world, as she continues to coach and inspire local athletes at Ski & Snowboard Club Vail, as well as various other ski camps.
