Inside this Renée del Gaudio Architecture home

There isn't much wood on the floor of this home, but when there is, you can catch us inside. Renée del Gaudio Architecture: Foresite “It was an absolute experiment,” architect Renée del Gaudio says of her recently completed project sited above Boulder’s Betasso Preserve. The residence is unconventional, with three cabin-like forms—one for working, one for living, one for sleeping—connected by glass-enclosed passageways. It’s also 100 percent gas-free, operating net zero though geothermal energy and electric appliances. But it’s not the structure, nor the energy rating del Gaudio means when she calls the project experimental—it’s how it came to be there. The award-winning architect purchased, developed, and designed the property on her own before selling the land and plans to clients. The reason? Site specificity.

Luxury Home Renovation with Bavarian Oak Floors

A home remodel in Avon, Colorado provided an opportunity for the owners to make meaningful, sustainable change to the look of their interior space. With a bright, airy floor plan, the opportunity for subtle luxury with a twist of drama was made possible with the use of old wood, custom millwork and mixed metals.
